Panda Assistant ("we") values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: the email address you provide when registering.
• Work data: work records, tasks, and business context you enter while using the service.
• Recordings and transcripts: with your permission, the app requests microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO) to capture recordings you choose, and generates text transcripts.
• Usage data: operational logs such as feature access and usage frequency.
• Speech-to-text service: transcription is processed by iFlytek's speech dictation SDK and service; recordings are transferred to iFlytek's servers for processing.

2. Storage and security

• All data is stored on secure cloud servers.
• Sensitive data is encrypted in the database.
• We use industry-standard measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

3. How we use data

We use your information only for the following purposes:

• Providing and maintaining Panda
• AI processing, including organization and extraction
• Account security verification
• Service improvement and bug fixes

4. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Sharing may occur only in these cases:

• With your explicit consent
• With AI processing providers under confidentiality obligations: text AI processing (organizing, summarizing, and extraction) is handled by DeepSeek; visual understanding of attached images is handled by Zhipu AI (GLM). They process data only as necessary to provide these services.
• When required by law or a government authority

You may:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent to data processing
